TSA Now Allows Passengers to Bring Up to 12 Ounces of Hand Sanitizer in Carry-Ons
In a new update from the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), until further notice travelers can bring one hand sanitizer container up to 12 ounces in their carry-on bags. The TSA notes that you should factor in additional time for screening if you have a container larger than 3.4 ounces because it will require a separate screening.
Other liquids, gels and aerosols must remain under the standard allowance of 3.4 ounces or 100 milliliters carried in a one quart-size bag.
Traveling with hand sanitizer? Until further notice, TSA is allowing passengers to bring hand sanitizer up to 12oz in carry-on bags. Larger containers will most likely need to be screened separately so allow yourself plenty of time. pic.twitter.com/PsMpU6ZVDB
