New York Governor Andrew Cuomo welcomed the hospital ship USNS Comfort to New York harbor on Monday. The ship brings with it 1,000 hospital beds, a 1,200-person medical crew and 12 operating rooms. According to a press release from the Military Health System, the hospital ship will start treating non-COVID-19 patients starting Tuesday, March 31st, to help other hospitals focus their time and resources on treating COVID-19 patients.
We will fight every way we can to save every life we can.
