CDC Issues Non-Essential Travel Advisory for New York, New Jersey and Connecticut
Saturday's standoff between President Donald Trump and New York Governor Andrew Cuomo on the issue of a proposed coronavirus quarantine for New York appears to have been resolved by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). In a press release late Saturday night, the CDC issued a 14-day non-essential travel advisory for the tri-state area, which includes New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.
